| | | | Our School Day was held on 19-th May 2010. All the students from first to eighth grade were involved in programme, showing their talent and creativity through subjects: Bosnian Language, English, German, Turkish, Music, Drama etc., with guidance of their teachers. Students have also preformed some acts from their free activities. Over 400 people participated. | | | Our students organized a science fair on "Solni Trg" in Tuzla. Students from International school of Tuzla prepared their projects from biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and I.C.T. Nearly 20 projects were on science fair. On the opening the guests were: Mersiha Jahic the assistant of the ministress, Salih Sabic from "Giprom" company, Ernesa Mesic the assistant of the mayor and the assistant of the minister of internal affairs. All schools in Tuzla were invited. Principal of our school Mehmet Kinal said that even if this was our first science fair, we will try to organize this science fair every year and make our students little scientists. The people were mostly interested in blood/sugar measuring, and people were amazed by the project called "the bed of nails". They couldn´t believe their eyes when they saw that the balloon did not burst when put over 100 of nails. The people also remembered the volcano on Iceland when they saw ous student´s "Volcano" project. They were amazed when they wore 3-dimensional glasses. It was also very funny to see the parts of someone else´s face in their own reflection. The people were so curios when they lost the rabbit in a simple box. The students from different schools tried to show their talent for drawing in one of the projects, but unfortunately most of them were unsuccessful. The people were affraid when they saw students cutting their wrists without mercy in a project of "blood color". They dearly demonstrated the damage cigarettes make on human body. Our director said that our school will continue organizing the science fair with better performance.

Our student from 7-th grade Muhamed Hasanovic won first place with 99 points in art competition in category with pencil. Competition was between primary schools in Tuzla. Our director congratulated him and told him if he continue with work like that could become a new “Picasso” in future and wish him on going success.
